The gallery of crime has a big collection of crime comic book covers of the 1940s and 1950s. The covers themselves are a play on the usual stereotypes of those times. Though the comics are very tame by today’s standards, they must have been racy reads in their heyday.The galleries feature covers from provocatively titled comic books like ‘ Gangsters and Gun Molls‘ and ‘Shock - Adult Psychoanalytical tales‘. There are some absolute gems to be found, if you look around.
