This one is a goodie. Ben Samuel has many scans of golden-age comic book covers on his site. These covers are divided into three main categories - ‘Good Girl and Romance comics’, Superhero and War Comics’ and ‘Crime and Horror comics’. Of these, the ‘Good girl and the ‘Crime and Horror’ categories are definitely the most interesting. The imagery is more sensual and evocative than anything present day multi-million dollar comic book houses can ever muster up.

No wonder, it was called the golden age of comics. Highly recommended.
