The Thrift Store Art site has four galleries of strange album covers from the roaring 50s. The artwork on some of the covers was racist, sexist and sometimes just weird. It’s like a time capsule from the 50s, the anachronism of it all is slightly disturbing in this age of technology and information.
Sex education by Catholic priests, hypnotism as a cure-it-all and music for your plants ? Just what were these people on, anyway ?
