Real Life Spider-Man Fights Thug

Kevin Godin-Prior SpidermanThis one is a pretty interesting story. Kevin Godin-Prior, en route to a charity fund-raiser, made a stop at a shop on Hyde Road, in London. He found a drunken thug harassing the shopkeeper and customers. The 53 year old mortgage consultant and father of two, decided to take matters into his own hands and lifted his jumper to reveal a Spiderman suit (his costume for the fundraiser) to the troublemaker. That only served to enrage the man, who began to assault Kevin. Kevin, despite the injuries, bravely managed to hold the man down, until Police arrived and arrested the assailant. He was later charged with two counts of assault on Kevin and a woman in the shop, and later plead guilty.

He added: “I just happened to be going out to a charity event – which I do quite a lot – and I had on my Spiderman costume. “I just managed to get free from his grip because he had been trying to throttle me. “I said to him: `You’ve made a big mistake here, mate. You don’t know who you are dealing with’. “Then I lifted the jumper. His jaw just dropped when he saw the Spiderman outfit.”
