The Incredible Book Art of Brian Detter
Brian Detter, an Atlanta based artist, creates stunning pieces of art by literally taking scissors to paper. The pages and contents of great works of literature are cut and manipulated into forming a three-dimensional collage/Diorama.
The innards of the bound book are revealed to the observer, hinting at the hidden treasures within. Though the book "dies", it is reborn as a work of art.
The collection is a part of his Altered States series.
