Bright Blind For Rooms With No Windows

Bright Blind by Makoto Hirahara

This product is perfect for those poor souls, who are unfortunate to be trapped in windowless offices. The Bright Blind is made from electroluminescent sheets, which simulates the look of a window covered with venetian blinds in the daytime. To complete the illusion, the brightness of the blinds can be controlled by turning the plastic stick.

There is no word on pricing yet, as it is still a prototype. The designer, Makoto Hirahara, built the entire thing by hand, so a recreation will prove to be a time consuming and expensive project.
