Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull Trailer

The first trailer for the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull is out, and it’s, I’m embarrassed to admit, really cool.

Truth be told, I was really skeptical of the entire thing. Pictures of an aging Harrison Ford, with the cynicism that comes with adulthood, made me hate the very idea of one more instalment to a perfect movie series. But this trailer took me back to childhood, a time when I watched movies with amazement and innocent pleasure, something probably which I may never be able to do again in this age of viral videos and tsunamis of pre-release hype. Yes, Ford looks really old, and the movie has an ’80s feel to it. But he is playing a man who fought evil Indian priests, got an autograph from Hilter and drank from the holy grail (the cup, not the figment of Dan Brown’s entertaining, but wild imagination).

So here is Indy, again, using a whip as only he can do, surviving incredible dangers with a lotta luck and gumption.
