Rare Color Photographs Taken During the Nazi Occupation of Paris During World War II

An exhibition of rare color photographs taken of a purportedly cheerful Paris under German occupation during the second World War, has touched a raw nerve among certain politicians and old timers.

The Nazis were, as most communist governments today, experts at manipulation and war time propaganda. However, the picture of an old Jewish woman forced to wear the Star of David emblem on her coat by the Germans, is a chilling reminder of the atrocities that were being committed in the Auschwitz death camps.

Let no one be fooled, this was just a flimsy facade.
