No way. Superman is the protector of shiny Metropolis, a city often threatened by inter-dimensional supervillains, evil doppelgangers, and ego-maniacal billionaires hell bent on world domination. Being one of the most powerful beings in the DC Comics universe, the man of steel usually demolishes these threats using his incredible powers.
In contrast, the twisted, sociopathic denizens who populate Gotham city require more careful handling. The dark knight is a perfect match. The city needs him to maintain some semblance of order and sanity.
Besides, Batman could kick Superman’s Kryptonian behind any day.
