"Destino” was the result of an unique collaboration between two supremely talented geniuses – Walt Disney and Salvador Dali.
The production of the animated short began in 1945, but was only completed 58 years later. The animators at Disney were able to meld their hallmark animation style with the surrealistic imagery of Dali to create this flawless masterpiece. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Animated Short Film in 2003.
