We are all driven by our desires. It could be the desire for power, for money, for respect, or even for love. And sometimes, our desires tend to blind us. We move as if we were single-minded juggernauts, brushing aside all caution, and oblivious to the dangers that lie in wait to consume us whole.
Hemlock is an allegorical tale, which masterfully combines “steampunk” elements with the myths of ancient folklore. The short film was created by Tyson Ibele, a gifted, 22 year old (!) animator from New Zealand. Tyson is a remarkable new talent, and is someone to watch out for in the coming years.
