Jim Henson on Making Muppets

Before the Sesame Street show made him one of the most famous puppeteers in the world, Jim Henson struggled long and hard for years. He bided his time, producing TV programs for children, talk shows, and even making commercials (something which he did not enjoy doing).

In this video clip aired on Iowa’s Public Television in 1969, watch Jim and his fellow muppeteers showing kids how to make those lovable Muppets, using simple objects around the house.
