Short Film: Why is the Sky Dark at Night?

The night sky is dotted with billions and billions of stars, with a combined luminosity that is more brighter than the surface of the sun. The question remains, then, why is it still dark at night?

The contradiction, also know as the Olbers’ paradox,  is explained in this visually spectacular video.

I highly recommend watching the 720p HD version on Youtube.
