Lessons For The Living

Lessons for the Living” is a poignant, yet uplifting documentary about “the experience of death, and what it teaches us from those who surround themselves with it.” Directed by Lily Henderson, the 55 minute documentary is a series of interviews with hospice volunteers and caregivers.

Watch a 2 minute excerpt from the film, where Kathleen, a terminally ill patient (and interestingly enough, a hospice volunteer, herself), talks with a calm, Zen-like acceptance about her impending demise.

Kathleen has passed away since the filming of the documentary.
