The Pet Store was a Disney animated short released in 1933 by United Artists Pictures.
The film is notable for being the third and last animated cartoon to feature Beppo the Gorilla, an ill-tempered beast who always kidnaps Minnie Mouse, only to be thwarted later by a clumsy, yet brave, Mickey Mouse.
This particular short pays homage to the other famous angry gorilla of the year 1933 – King Kong.
