Dacca Boots Are Made of Recycled Plastic Bags

Dacca Boots

These funky looking ‘Dacca’ Boots are made from recycled plastic bags. The boots are waterproof, lightweight and non-toxic, with pique cotton padded interiors for comfort.

The boots were designed by Camila Labra Fontas, an industrial designer based in Chile. Camila named the boots after Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka, a city reeling under a plastic bag epidemic.

The boots are priced at $45 for a pair. More details here.
