“Eros” was made by its creator as an attempt to interpret how the visually impaired perceive their immediate environment.
Eros is about a young blind man who always struggled with his inability to imagine the world around him. He just couldn’t shape things like color and beauty in his mind. This all changes when he meets a curious girl, someone who will change things for once and for all.
While it may only be a creative interpretation of the subject, the film is a resplendent delight for the aural and visual senses. It is also, sadly, a reminder of the fact that the visually impaired can only experience one and not the other.
The brilliant soundtrack was designed and composed by Jeff Thompson.
