Why can’t all code be visually beautiful like this?
This is the source code layout of the Fujifilm Binoculars website. Mind you, the code has been flipped on its side.
And this is the Google Earth view of Mount Fuji, from the top of the company’s corporate headquarters in Saitama, Japan.
I hope you can see where I’m going with this. Overlaying the code on top of the image makes things clearer.
Didn’t that just blow your mind?
It is a great example of form over function. One of the many aesthetic design principles practiced in Japan.
