This is a photograph of the Hotel Silken Puerta América’s car park – the unusual, but beautiful venue for the JUSTMAD3 contemporary design exhibition, that will be held in 2012, in Madrid. The avant-garde car park, designed by Italian architect Teresa Sapey, will play host to works by emerging Spanish and international artists
The stunning hotel itself was designed by acclaimed international architects “including Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel, Ron Arad, amongst others.”
Following the success of the concept developed in 2011, JUSTMAD3 draws on a prestigious curatorial team – Javier Duero, Martí Manen and Luiza Teixeira de Freitas, who, with the artistic director of Art Fairs, Giulietta Speranza, are selecting the participating galleries.
For the second year in a row, the fair will also present contemporary design in the section JUSTMADDESIGN, where other international galleries will show pieces made by a number of designers from all over the globe. By providing space for both art and design, JUSTMAD3 creates a unique platform for a dialogue between the two disciplines.
JUSTMAD3 will take place between February 16th – February 19th, 2012.
