The producers of the widely acclaimed, Evil Dead, The Musical, released this gruesomely-hilarious commercial to promote the show in Toronto.

The music video for the band Fat City Reprise’s song ‘Long Gone’ was created using thousands of still photographs.
The brilliant video was conceptualized and directed by Cesar Kuriyama, a New York based animator, who took 14 months to create the video. His director of photography took 45,000 photographs with a Nikon D200 DSLR camera, which were then later stitched together to create the effect of motion film.
Like most people, you will either love the music, or just hate it.

The LED helmets used as props by electro-pop band, Daft Punk, cost $ 14,000 to make. LED Effects, the company which made the helmets, later put them on sale for a jaw-dropping $ 65,000.
Casey Pugh made his own low-cost replica of the helmet for Halloween, this year. He used a second hand motorcycle helmet, and an Arduino board to program and control the LEDs.
He also made a short time-lapse video documenting the entire process. Watch it after the jump.

The song “Take on Me” by Norwegian band a-ha, reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1985.
The success of the single could be attributed to the facts that the song was extremely radio-friendly, and also that it had an innovative, quintessentially ‘80s music video. The video blended rotoscope animation and live action sequences.
Dustin Mclean (aka Dustball), award-winning animator and musician, has now remixed the music video by adding his own voice and lyrics to it.
I don’t want to give too much away, but I just loved this version more.

Straight from the WTF department. A dirty, but surprisingly well-sung parody version of the ‘Part of Your World’ song from The Little Mermaid.
Cut Chemist, talented DJ Turntablist, was a former band member of the Latin funk group Ozomatli, and also the hip hop group Jurassic 5. Some of you may remember his small cameo role as a chemistry professor in Juno.
The super-trippy video for his latest track “My 1st Big Break” is supposedly the first commercial music video to be shot with a 360 degree, panoramic camera.
As always, do watch the video in HD if you have the bandwidth to spare.
