In response to Radiohead’s online contest to remix the ‘Nude’ track, James Houston rigged together some outdated and obsolete computer devices and peripherals to recreate the song, and a brilliant music video.
He used a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (which I owned, and spent frustratingly long hours loading and playing the 8-bit Batman game with) for rhythm and lead guitars, an Epson LX-81 Dot Matrix Printer for drums, an HP Scanner for bass guitar, and old and dying hard drives were used as speakers to reproduce the vocals.
At precisely 1.319 seconds long, “You Suffer” by British band Napalm Death has been officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the shortest recorded song ever. The song only consists the lyrics "You suffer – but why?”
The track, originally recorded in March 1986, was featured on the band’s 1986 album Scum.
The song’s music video was released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the record, and is probably the shortest music video to be ever made.

The SLORK Project could very well change the way music is created in the future. The project uses laptops as musical instruments, and also as devices to virtually collaborate in…
Sigur Rós, a band from Iceland, has just released a spectacular music video for ‘Gobbledigook’, the first song from its upcoming album.
The band, being inspired by the earlier works of photographer Ryan McGinley (NSFW link), collaborated with him to create the music video.
Disclaimer: The video is absolutely not safe for work, as it features a lot of nãked people in it.

Robert Hodgin originally intended his music video to be an entry for Radiohead’s Animated Music Video Contest on Aniboom. The song in the video is Weird Fishes/Arpeggi from the controversial In Rainbows music album.
He created the video with Processing, an open source programming language and environment.
Dennis Liu, a college student and aspiring filmmaker, created an unofficial music video for the Bird And The Bee's single "Again and Again." Liu made the video for about $100, using…
Watching Masako Yasumoto dance in the hypnotic Omadaka style, left me quite entranced, but seriously creeped my wife out.
Omodaka has been defined as a mutational fusion of music and video developed through trial and error.
I must admit, there were moments when I almost expected her to step out from the computer screen.
This cringe-worthy clip from Britain's Got Talent features one of the worst singers to ever make an appearance on a talent show. And we thought some of the preliminary auditions…
Bjork, ever the maverick, is back with her latest video for the single ‘Wanderlust’ from her sixth studio album Volta.
The stunningly hypnotic video directed by a Manhattan based art collective – Encyclopedia Pictura, complements the music perfectly, and sometimes even eclipses it.
I highly recommended watching a much higher quality version of the video at the official site of Encyclopedia Pictura (site may be having bandwidth issues) or at here.
If you don’t have enough bandwidth to spare, you can watch a lower quality version after the jump.
