R - Jesseca Dollano Graphic Design Created For 36 Days of Type Challenge

Check out some great graphic design work by talented visual designer Jesseca Dollano, which she created for the popular “36 Days of Type” typography challenge. The project required participants to design an alphabet and numeral everyday for “36 days straight.”

Jesseca was raised in Hong Kong, but currently lives and works in New York city. She has worked for R/GA advertising agency on print and online campaigns for Samsung. She says that she mainly focuses on interface design, motion graphics, typography, and information design. In her free time, this young designer plays the guitar and “hunts” the streets in search of interesting street art.

Jota Erre Coto, a graphic designer from Madrid, Spain, sent in some of the fantastic typography he created for the ‘36 Days of Type’ project.

36days was a project curated by Rafa Goicoechea and Nina Sans that invited designers, illustrators and graphic artists to give their particular view on the signs from our alphabet.

Helvetica Heroes

Helvetica-Heroes

20 year old graphic designer, René Mambembé pays homage to his “hero,” the Helvetica font, with his series of illustrations of alphabets that are minimalist representations of comic book and movie characters.

René, who is based in Nantes, France, says that he has been passionate about typography and illustration from a long time. He is also looking out for an internship, so if you are interested in hiring him you can contact him here.
